--Going to yard sales is kind of fun. Going to yard sales that are antique sales a little fun if you like looking at old stuff. Going to yard sales that are actually former stores excess stock sales. It’s kind of fun because you see different thing I guess. Not so much fun if your looking for bargains. But every once in a while you find something unique. That you would not see in a store because it is rare or original.
--It seems every since all the online HULLABALOO going to yard sales has taken on a new meaning. Everyone is expecting to get fair market value for their stuff. Which is probably fair. Except of course if your looking for bargains and don't feel like paying above retail for stuff better suited for dumpster fillers. But I guess it’s a case of supply and demand.
--It seems to me mentioning a few of these things when they place their add would be beneficial to them. And also for the people looking for something to do and thinking about going to yard sales. You know reach your audience and not just anybody looking for something to do.
--But it could be worse I guess. And usually driving around is kind of nice as long as you stay away from four way stops. And don't mind all the extra excise. Waking up long driveways will give you that. And sometimes you can meet and chat with some of the nicest people......
