--I just love those days where you are so full of energy you just want to go out and chop some wood. They don't happen very often but when they do I go with it. Of course I’ll pay for it later. But it sure is fun while it lasts.
--You would think I would learn to pace myself but I don't and to be honest probably won’t. The whole good days bad days and the ones in between get to be a tad too much sometimes. So when a tree chopping mode day comes along I usually run with it. There is no greater satisfaction than seeing just how much you can get accomplished in the course of one day.
--I have not been able to figure out if it's a gift from mother nature or just a chance to catch your breath and not have to worry about simple things. It’s just nice to be able to function without hobbling around with a dang fool cane I have yet to figure out how to use.
--Of course my wife points out while I’m going whack a doodle crazy your going to pay for it tomorrow. And my response is probably but I’ll have gotten a lot accomplished. Sure it's probably not the best plan but what can I say even old fools enjoy a little time in the sun....
