--Forgetting the basics often brings about shortage in so many places that it’s hard to comprehend.
--And really there’s no reason for it other than a preoccupation with the day to day nonsense of getting the job done.
-By the time it comes down to the basics your either too tired from everything else or just put the basics off till morning. But when morning arrives your off and running and the basics have fallen along the way once again.
--Perhaps it time for a major rethinking to take place and the basics should once again be put in the place where they belong. And not put off resulting in the same old routine. Where nothing gets done only little bits and pieces of errands and favors.
--You need to stay on track to get the basics done first. If something comes up and you can not postpone it till later then fine. Afterwards hop a train and ride the rail till your basics are completed. By remaining on track through the tunnels of distractions and the mountains of obstacles that appear your engine keeps it’s smoke stack puffing smoke and your wheels remain turning down the tracks
-- Later on when you peer down the tracks you can see the end approaching. You will be content to know that the basics are done. Along with all you have accomplished for the day by keeping your caboose going and not jumping the tracks
-- So toot your horn proudly and ring your bell loudly for there are no more railroad crossings only satisfaction of your journey’s end .….
