--Making excuse’s for other people's behavior while sometimes can be seen as a sign of love. Most often I’m finding out is just a way of preventing ourselves from looking at the true picture. And in fact probably isn't doing the person were making the excuses for any good. By allowing them to continue to do what ever is was we had to make excuses for in the first place.
--Everyone is responsible for their own behavior, that’s what freewill is. We are not prisoner’s of our upbringing. The choice is ours each and everyday. If we refuse to take responsibility for our actions than it's our fault, and all the excuses in the world can't change that fact.
--I’ve always tried to impress upon my children that you can only lie to yourself for so long before it catches up to you. And you have to face the reality of life.
--Slowly is seems to be sinking in and I’m proud to say they are starting understand what I’ve been saying. That’s not to say their haven’t been some rough patches. There have been.
--But like I said slowly their stating to understand. That’s all any one can ask for as a parent....
