--I've always tried to impress upon my children no matter what your doing try to do it the best you can. Don't just put enough effort into to it to get it done But do your best.
--I guess I never realized what a task this was going to be. Until I tried to convince my children this was the best policy.
--In a world that seems to be more concerned with how much you can get, and how quickly, while doing as little as possible. This has proven to be a uphill battle.
--Where your best effort is seen not as a sign of a good worker, but as a worker who is willing to shoulder a never ending work load for little or no reward. It has indeed been darn near imposable.
--Where any sign of creativity is treated as a potential violation of the norm and quickly clamped down on. It’s enough to make you wonder where the next generation of anything is going to come from.
--Never the less I’m still trying to convince my children that sometimes putting 110% into what your doing is a good idea. If not for the satisfaction of doing a good job, but for the feeling it gives you when your done.
--Over the years their slowly coming around, and maybe someday they'll understand just what the Sam hill I’m talking about….
