--Watching out my front window has became a daily ritual with me more so since winter has returned. Maybe it's a sign of old age creeping in or the fascination of watching life go on even though it's really dang cold out there.
--Between all the blowing and drifting snow their seems to be an almost endless supply of non stop entertainment.
--From trying to count the cars that slow down for the speed limit. As far as I can tell somebody must of rewritten the drivers Ed book.
--To just what in Sam hill my neighbors turkey's and chickens find so fascinating about my yard and not theirs.
--And if that wasn't enough to keep me occupied there seems to be a flock of crows that think it's really smart to land and hang out in a yard full of cats. Guarantied their not the brightest bulbs in the box that’s why there out there. But even a dim bulb might be able to pick of a few.
--Of course it’s not from lack of entertainment that keeps me looking out the window. There’s more than enough right here in my kitchen. What with my own little flock of furry gremlins searching the floor for crumbs while I’m trying to cook dinner.
--Either way as winter progresses I find myself looking out the window more and more for the first sign of spring I guess. I’m not greedy right about now I’ll take anything....
