--For a change the cats and kittens are quiet. I don’t hear any pitter-patter of little paws. It's probably because of the cool night and now the sun filled kitchen. Or perhaps they tired themselves out from all the rough housing they did this mourning.
--Which is fine by me I know I’ve grown tired of playing their crazy games. Or picking up their little messes they make knocking things down from the bookcase or off from the shelves on the walls.
--As I’m sure their tired of listening to me telling them the same thing every day to behave and not make such a mess.
--Either way it’s a break for us all. Of course that’s only as long as the sunshine lasts. I’m pretty sure they’ll be up and about when the sun goes down. With a whole new bag of shenanigans for the coming night. With their tiny sharp pointy toys scattered all over and all their balls they bat around. At least we don’t have any mice running around thanks to the little fools …
