--Waffles found a friend this morning. As he was going out to do his business
this morning he made his rounds of checking all the cats who hang around the
house. Sniffing and licking each as he passed by. Most of the cats endured this
morning ritual with disgust and the rest they just ignored the little fool.
--Totally unfazed by the whole ordeal Waffles continued on his merry way. Rounding the picker flower bush that grows next to our deck he stopped in his tracks and did a reverse Scooby Do back towards the porch.
--It's seems Waffles has found a friend one of the biggest toads I’ve ever seen it looked about the size of a small cantaloupe. And it didn't look too happy. But then again I can't say as I blame him. Being in a yard filled with whack a doodle cats, kittens and dogs would get on anybodies nerves after awhile I guess. Not to mention wondering bands of chickens and turkey's from the neighbors yard.
--Well Jerry- Lee didn’t' really seem to fazed by the little fella. But then in the morning not much fazes her. She stepped over him and I hooked her to her run.
--Waffles wanted to go back in the house. I had to carry him over and hook him up. He wasn't happy but he did his duty.
--The toad was sitting there and then hopped over to Waffles run driving poor Waffles out of his mind. Every time Waffles tried to get away from him the toad followed.
--Well I figured the high strung little fool needed to be rescued before he went over the edge. So I unhooked him and let him back in the house. He cleared the three porch steps to the house in one leap. And had the door open and was in his bed before I even got in the house. I guess he had enough of nature for the day......
