PONDERING OVER THE PAST... 06/21/15

--Watching people flounder picking apart the past trying to find where mistakes were made is very frustrating for me. Because usually this leads to a rut of useless thinking and wasted time. And is very seldom profitable in the learning department. Can even destroy your self worth and make you feel miserable. It is better to leave the past beyond and live for today with a new and fresh outlook on life.
--I’m not saying trying to learn from mistakes is bad. I know in my own case it was very profitable. Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years is I’ve made my share of mistakes. But I don’t drag them out and parade them around every day.
--It's just that I’ve learned the whole ordeal of could of, should of, would of is a useless train of thought and unless kept in prospective can lead to one giant trap that’s very hard to lift yourself out of. I try to keep my adventures of examining mistakes to as little as possible because of this. Myself I’ve found life is to short to be floundering in self pity about a bunch of mistakes I can't go back and change.
--It's not the best of plans but on a whole I find I’ve made less mistakes and have had lot more  better days since I’ve adopted this way of thinking. I guess that’s what counts living in the present to your fullest.....
