--Somebody once said sometimes you have to burn your
bridges behind you, because some people have a tendency to want to go back when
the going got too tough. And if you burned your bridges behind you wouldn't be
able to go back.
--I always had the opinion that it seemed kind of stupid to burn a perfectly good bridge, and it was always best to keep your options open.
-- As far as sticking things through having a bridge at your back has nothing to do with the ability of being able to see things through to the end. That had more to do with the mental attitude of concentrating on the finish and not the dang fool steps it took to get there.
--The thing about the whole process is being trapped in the drudgery of the steps and not realizing that they are in fact a means to the end.
--Yeah I know it’s all in how you look at it. But sometimes keeping things in prospective means the difference between getting to the end and falling off along the wayside…..
