BIRTHDAY WISHES...

--Usually when birthday's roll around I’m the first one to smile because another year has passed and another is on the way. Then of course the fun begins.
--A hodgepodge of emotions runs through me leaving me with tear filled eye’s for most of the day. Until the last candle's blown out and then I’m good for another year or at lest till the next dang fool birthday rolls around.
--My wife firmly believes it's because I’m a sentimental old fool and that's why I go through this. She's probably right of course. It seems she usually is.
--Myself I learning towards the fact that it might just be the whole cake and ice cream thing. Because there nothing like a piece of birthday cake with a glob of ice cream to make that first cup of coffee go down even better....
