--The only shame in being made a fool of is the inability to put the experience in prospective.
--Carrying it over into a resentment accomplishes nothing but loading you up with unwanted baggage. It’s a lot easier to recognize the experience as just another learned lesson. Forgive the person or persons and continue on without all the excess baggage to lug around.
--Yeah I know sometimes a lot easier said than done. Try explaining that to four children as they try to navigate the highs and lows of life. It’s a hard thing to do. And especially hard for children. Nobody likes to be laughed at. But the ability to laugh at our mistakes and learn from them is what makes us or breaks us so to speak.
--Over the years we’ve all had plenty of chances to practice laughing and learning from our mistakes. Over time it’s gotten a lot easier. And we’ve gotten pretty good at it. I guess you really can’t ask for anything more than that….
