BUTTERFLY PATCH....

--My wife thinks I’m a tad touched sometimes when I mow the yard because sometimes I’ll end up leaving giant patches of grass all over the place. When it first happen it was like being grilled under a light as to just why in Sam hill I couldn't figure out how to mow the whole yard. With each one of my answer's my wife gave me her famous your so full of it looks.
--In truth I’m a sucker for any type of flower that adds a touch of color to a otherwise sea green. And then of course there's butterflies and bumble bees. Butterflies because their colorful and cool to watch and bumblebee's well for some dang fool reason I’ve always thought they were funny looking. And also useful if you have fruit trees which we do.
--Using a rider is kind of hard to miss the little fellow’s. A push mower gives you a little more control. Needless to say every time I encounter a patch of colorful flowers I’ll go around them. And the same for bumble bees and butterflies.
--Over the years this has at times left us with a patchy yard to say the least. But it's nice to know that those patch's are out there. They help me get through the hard days with a smile......
