--One of the weirdest groups of pets we had was a bunch of bunnies. For some reason it was a case of just got to have. And of course being that we were new to the whole parenting thing we caved like a wet sock.
--So we became the proud owners of 4 of the most fluffy escape artist to ever come down the pike. For a while we had them in the house until they became a little to big to be chasing around trying to put them back in their cage. The decision was made and we built them a house outside with a little area to play in.
--Well it wasn't long before the little escape artist began applying their trade and started escaping. This drove the children bonkers. But did keep them occupied for awhile, trying to catch them and put them back in their house. My wife was the first one to notice that even though they were escaping they were also returning to their house on their own. So we took the fence down and left the door open. Which seemed to work.
--For quite awhile they hung around the house. Often lying with the cats who hung around, and following the children when they went outside to play. Our yearly yard sale was a real treat with cats and bunnies roaming around and visit’s from Wilber every once in awhile. After awhile they wondered of. Oh every once in awhile one our two will come back for a visit. Which is kind of fun to see how they have grown.....
