Trying to figure out what dads talking about...

--My children have often complained that half the time they don't know what the Sam hill I’m talking about.
--I’ll say something and then have to explain just what it is I’m talking about. And then they usually walk of mumbling to themselves.
--It's not that I’m talking in a foreign language or anything I just try to put things into simple terms. So people will remember what it is I’m saying.
--If you were to ask my children what some of my favorite sayings were I’m sure they could provide you with hours of running commentary. So something I said must have sunk in somewhere.
--In fact I’ve heard in mentioned more than once in the past few years by my children and wife that they pulled a few of my little tidbits out without realizing it when talking with their friends and coworkers. And then their response is,” Oh my god I’m turning into my father or my husband.“
--I guess they were listening after all....
