The sameness of everyday life..

--My children have grown to hate this sentence. Back in the old days when I was a child. Probably because they know their in for a remember when session.
--If there was one thing we had in abundance it was imagination. which wasn't frowned upon but encouraged. not checked constantly to see if the idea was in violation of copy right laws or plagiarized form another source.
--I've always tried to encourage my children to embrace their imagination in there lives. With some success over the years. Despite the ever probing of a system that's seems more concerted with keeping the copy right and plagiarism laws of the land than trying to encourage children to use there imagination. and think outside the box.
--It seems today we are expected to stay in the box at all cost. While the rest of the world goes Willy Nilly and Whack a doodle as they please.
--Which I suppose is OK except for the fact that we seem to be in the process of being strangled by the sameness of everyday life....
