--Over the years I’ve tried to impress upon my children that dad don’t function unless he’s had his coffee.
And they in turn have tried there best to test the theory. I mean it’s amazing how melt down’s and crisis I’ve had to mediate over the years all while clutching a cup of coffee. And trying my best to get it into me before the next crisis comes along.
--When it comes to Christmas, my wife and I have agreed to form an alliance of sorts. No opening presents until mom and dad have had their coffee.
--So far it seems to be working, probably because they have their Christmas stocking’s to occupy themselves with. Now if we can just figure out how to get Santa to stop filling the dang thing’s with so much chocolate we just might get to enjoy a second cup of coffee. Before the Christmas fun begins..
