NOVEMBER CHRISTMAS 2010

--I thought NOVEMBER CHRISTMAS was a very heartwarming movie and especially loved how the town came together to show the little girl battling cancer Christmas in November. It was a very touching moment and once again proves that people can be nice to each other when they really want to.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give NOVEMBER CHRISTMAS a big old 10 and plan on making sure it finds it’s way onto our Christmas movie list’s.

--On a Scale of 1 to 10 I give MIRACLE IN MANHATTAN a big old 10, and I know it’s going to be on our holiday Christmas movie list for a long time come.

MATCHMAKER SANTA 2012

--MATCHMAKER SANTA was a pleasant holiday movie with a charming cast who worked very well together to make a very good holiday movie experience.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give MATCHMAKER SANTA a 10 it was a very nice holiday movie to spend time watching with the family.

LOVE AT THE CHRISTMAS TABLE 2012

--LOVE AT THE CHRISTMAS TABLE was a typical example of how most of the time we don’t realize what were looking fir is often right in front of  us. I found the movie to be a heartwarming fun example of what a holiday movie should be, and plan on watching it again on our yearly Christmas movie list.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give LOVE AT THE CHRISTMAS TABLE a 10, it was a family film for the whole family.

LET IT SNOW 2013

--LET IT SNOW was a delight to watch it was a fun movie with plenty of funny heartwarming Christmas holiday moments, a all around Christmas classic as far as I’m concerned. Of course it probably could have been better if they would have thrown in a few blueberry pies but that’s probably just me.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give LET IT SNOW a big old 10 and plan to make sure it makes it way onto our Christmas movie list to watch yearly.

HOLIDAY SWITCH/CHRISTMAS WISH 2007

--I like what if movies they give us a chance to see what happens if life went a little differently. I thought HOLIDAY SWITCH was a nice movie, especially when the main character realized the one place she wanted to be was where she was. Of course it had it’s heartwarming moments and that’s what’s going to make this movie a permanent member of our Christmas holiday movie list for many years to come.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give HOLIDAY WISH a 10, the story’s been done before but this time it seems just a tad different .

IT NEARLY WASN’T CHRISTMAS 1989

--A Christmas movie with Charles Durning as Santa and a really good story to boot what more could you ask for. Maybe a box of tissues it is a bit of a tearjerker at times. FIR CRAZY 2013

--I thought FIR CRAZY was a nice holiday movie with a lot of funny heartwarming moments that were clean enough for the whole family to enjoy without fast forwarding which is something in this day and age I guess. Plus the look of the movie was right up there with a holiday classic and that was a two for in my book.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give FIR CRAZY  a big old 10, it’ll find it’s way on our holiday Christmas movie list for sure.

FOUR CHRISTMASES 2008

--Ok once again I really don’t like watching PG-13 Christmas movies because I usually end up with the remote in my hand waiting for that little piece of smut they always seem to slide into the movie thinking of course nobody really watches I guess. I will say FOUR CHRISTMASES wasn’t as smutty as I thought it was going to be, but it did have a few parts that I thought they could of left out without hurting the laugh out loud factor. Which is probably why I watched it with the dang fool remote in my hand.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give FOUR CHRISTMASES A 9, even though it had Christmas in the title I didn’t feel much like a holiday Christmas movie. More like a home movie of some bodies Christmas misadventures. While funny it just wasn’t what I was looking for in a holiday movie I guess. We will probably watch it again but it won’t be on the top of the list.

GOOD LUCK CHARLIE IT’S CHRISTMAS 2011

--I thought GOOD LUCK CHARLIE IT’S CHRISTMAS was a fun filled movie that made a good addition to the TV show. It was funny and lighthearted fun which is pretty much what I’m looking for in a holiday movie.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give GOOD LUCK CHARLIE IT’S CHRISTMAS a 10, it’s fun for the whole family and makes a welcome addition to any Christmas movie list for holiday watching.

HITCHED FOR THE HOLIDAYS 2012

--We liked HITCHED FOR THE HOLIDAYS was a nice movie and had a real sweat feel to it. It was nice to see the chemistry between the two main character’s and I thought the rest of the cast was a nice fit to. It was a all around nice holiday movie that left you feeling a little better than when you first sat down and that’s what counts in a good holiday movie.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give HITCHED FOR THE HOLIDAYS a big old 10, it just the kind of warm feel good holiday entertainment that’s fun for the whole family.

DENNIS THE MENACE CHRISTMAS 2007

--I liked DENNIS THE MENACE CHRISTMAS but then again I really liked all the movies with old DENNIS and used to love watching the cartoons with the children when they were younger and had time for such things. Watching the Christmas spirit take hold of old Mr. Wilson was a real treat and a welcome relief to all that dang fool grumpiness.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give all the DENNIS THE MENACE MOVIES a big old 10, and actually make a pleasant way to spend a Sunday with the family. Which is what we usually do at lest once a year. There’s something about the misadventures of Dennis and Mr. Wilson  that make things seem a little better.

DENNIS MENACE 1987
DENNIS MENACE 1993
DENNIS MENACE STRIKES AGAIN 1998

CROWN FOR CHRISTMAS 2015

 - -We loved CROWN FOR CHRISTMAS, sure the story wasn’t really anything special and has been done a few times before but even in it’s familiarity it made itself a standout with the chemistry put out by a standout cast. It was fun, funny, and heartwarming and just a really darn good movie, one that we’ll be watching for many years to come on our Christmas movie nights.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 we give CROWN FOR CHRISTMAS  a big old 10 it really is fun for the whole family.

CHRISTMAS UNDER WRAPS 2014

--Well as far as I’m concerned CHRISTMAS UNDER WRAPS hit all the right spots when it came to spreading holiday cheer. It was fun, funny, and heartwarming which is basically what I’m looking for in a holiday movie something to take the edge of this whack a doodle thing we call life.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give CHRISTMAS UNDER WRAPS  a big old 10, it was just the right kind of holiday cheerfulness that you need during the Christmas season

A CHRISTMAS WEDDING DATE 2012

--As a Christmas movie I thought A CHRISTMAS WEDDING DATE was a little off. But it still worked out as a very nice holiday movie, and I might add a rather pleasant way to spend a some time.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give A CHRISTMAS WEDDING DATE  10, but I probably won’t be putting it on our Christmas movie list to watch for the holidays. Now our Romantic movies in the spring list is another story. I’m sure it’ll fit nicely on that.

CHRISTMAS WITH A CAPITAL C 2011

--To be honest I wasn’t to impressed with the movie CHRISTMAS WITH A CAPITAL C. This really wasn’t a feel good holiday movie. And there was just to much conflict for me to really enjoy myself watching it.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give CHRISTMAS WITH A CAPITAL C a 3, it really wasn’t a holiday movie. It was more about to groups of people fighting about where to put up a holiday display.

CHRISTMAS TREE MIRACLE 2013

--A CHRISTMAS TREE MIRACLE has been our list of Christmas movies to watch yearly because it’s a holiday classic that reaffirms our holiday spirit. Not very many movies have the ability to be funny, sad, and heartwarming all at the same time but this movie does. And the best thing is when it’s over it makes you want to be a better person.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give A CHRISTMAS TREE MIRACLE  a big old 10, and recommend it for the whole family just keep a box of tissues on hand.

MR MIRACLE 2014

--I thought DEBBIE MACOMBERS MR MIRACLE was a delight to watch it was funny without being dumb and heartwarming without being sappy. The two things I look for in a holiday movie so it was a two for in my book.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give DEBBIE MACOMBERS MR MIRACLE  a big old 10, and definitely plan for it to be on our list of Christmas movie to watch each year.

HOLIDAZE 2013

--I like what if movie because they give the other side of the coin as a plane of reference and that’s always fun. HOLIDAZE was a very sweat and charming movie that was both heartwarming and funny which made it a lot easier to watch.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give HOLIDAZE  a 10 and plan on making sure it’s on our list of Christmas movie to watch each year.

FINDING CHRISTMAS 2013

--FINDING CHRISTMAS was a fun movie to watch, sure it was a little slow to start but once it got going it never slowed down till the end. I know we’ll be watching it again in our yearly Christmas movie nights. Very seldom do you find a holiday movie that’s fun heartwarming and easy to watch and enjoy.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give FINDING CHRISTMAS a big old 10, it’s fun for the whole family.

HOLIDAY ROAD TRIP 2013

--I liked HOLIDAY ROAD TRIP I thought it was funny and heartwarming while not being stupid or smutty. Which seems to be hard to find these days in a movie holiday or other wise.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give HOLIDAY ROAD TRIP  a 10 and plan for it to be on our list of Christmas movies to watch each year.

I’M NOT READY FOR CHRISTMAS 2015

--I like to tell the truth movies, probably because it’s a concept lost on some people. And it is fun watching people struggle with telling the truth. I’M NOT READY FOR CHRISTMAS is a good example of a to tell the truth movie expect this one is done so well we’ll probably watch it in our yearly Christmas movie night to come.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give I’M NOT READY FOR CHRISTMAS a 10, it was funny heartwarming and full of the foolishness of watching adults tell the truth when their not used to doing it.

FAREWELL MR KRINGLE 2010

--I don’t know when the movie started I thought it was going to be a dud, it just had that feel I guess. It didn’t take long before I realized FAREWELL MR KRINGLE was something special. Of course when it was over I also realized it was going to be one of the movies we watched yearly on our Christmas movie nights.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give FAREWELL MR KRINGLE a 10, it starts a little slow but be patient and you’ll be rewarded.

CHRISTMAS CONSULTANT 2012

--Maybe it’s just me but I thought CHRISTMAS CONSULTANT was a very funny charming little movie, with a few heartwarming moments to make it a memorable holiday movie. My thought it was ok but not great. I guess that’s what makes this country great the ability to disagree about something and not take it personal.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give the CHRISTMAS CONSULTANT  big old 10, .my wife thought it was ok but wouldn’t watch it again, of course I’m going to put it on our list of Christmas to watch every year because quite frankly I think everything deserves a second chance.

MERRY FRIGGIN CHRISTMAS 2014

--Usually I don’t really care for Christmas movies with a PG-13 rating, but I found MERRY FRIGGIN CHRISTMAS to be quite funny even if the humor was a tad crude at times. I guess that’s what they figure people will laugh at apparently. But even though it was a tad crude we did enjoy it and I guess that’s what counts in the long run.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give MERRY FRIGGIN CHRISTMAS a 8.5. I don’t mind a little crude humor but I really felt they pushed it a tad. But that said we’ll probably watch the dang fool movie again because it was funny but it won’t be on the top of the list of Christmas movies we watch every year.

LOVE AT THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE 2012

--On a scale of 1 to 10 we give LOVE AT THE THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE  big old 10, and even though it’s not a Christmas movie we plan on adding it to our list of holiday movies to watch every year.

THE K-9 ADVENTURE MOVIES

--I liked the K-9 ADVENTURE MOVIES  right from the start, of course I’ve always had a soft spot for a good dog movie, and if you throw in a Christmas theme it’s a must watch in our house. With the K-9 ADVENTURE movies the chemistry the cast generated along with the dog made the movies both a pleasure to watch and very easy to enjoy.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give the K-9 ADVENTURE MOVIES a 10 and make sure their both on our list of Christmas movies to watch each year.

--Ok I’ve always had a soft spot for movies with children getting the best of adults. And the HOME ALONE movies were no expectation. In HOME ALONE THE HOLIDAY HEIST I found another reason to have a HOME ALONE night of movies. It was funny and reality clean something which these days seems hard to find when it comes to movies.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give HOME ALONE THE HOLIDAY HEIST a big old 10, it’s a movie that’s fun for the whole family.

HOLIDAY IN HANDCUFFS 2007

--It’s amazing what good writing and acting can do with a theme that’s been done before. But that’s exactly what happened in HOLIDAY IN HANDCUFFS there was so much chemistry you forgot about the fact that the whole dang stories been told before. Although not as well as in HOLIDAY IN HANDCUFFS because quite frankly it was the kind of movie that’s going to get plenty of playing time in our house in the years to come.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give HOLIDAY IN HANDCUFFS  a 10, it really is a Christmas movie classic

--Yeah I know SAVING SANTA is a cartoon, but it’s still fun and filled with holiday cheer. When the children were younger we watched every cartoon that came out. ELF 2003

--We loved this movie probably for the simple reason it’s been along time since we’ve seen a really good Christmas movie that wasn’t made for one of the cable channels like Hallmark or any of the other ones who do it so well. --On a scale of 1 to 10 we give ELF a big old 10 and have been watching every year since it came out.

BEST CHRISTMAS PARTY EVER 2014

--We liked BEST CHRISTMAS PARTY EVER especially when to main characters realized that in order to save the day they had to work together, a concept that seems to be pretty foreign these days. But they pulled it of and things worked out for the best.

COUNTRY CHRISTMAS 2013

--Ok I liked the movie, yeah even though parts of it were pretty bad. And I think there were a couple of parts that could have been left out, making a much better movie. But on a whole it worked and that’s really all I’m looking for when I sit down to watch a Christmas movie. I would’ really let small children watch it but everyone else should find it entertaining.

--Ok I thought ONE MAGIC CHRISTMAS was a bit dark for my taste, and not my usual Christmas movie choice. That said I found it to be a very heartwarming movie and the ending was a real shot in the arm. I wouldn’t recommend it for little children maybe teenagers and adults because of the dark theme.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give ONE MAGIC CHRISTMAS a 7.5 only because it was so dark and it forced the audience to try and find the light at the end of the tunnel while they were spinning their dark tale. Even though the ending made the ride worth it there were just to many dang fool bumps for my taste.
--But that said we’ll probably watch ONE MAGIC CHRISTMAS again, just not right away.

THE PRANCER MOVIES

-- I thought THE PRANCER MOVIES were very heartwarming and at times a bit sad but thankfully it all worked out in the end. They had a few more bumps than I usually like in my Christmas movies but I can say it was worth the ride.

A MOM FOR CHRISTMAS 1990

--A MOM FOR CHRISTMAS was a very good Christmas movie as far as I’m concerned. There should be a little magic in a Christmas movie, the whole season reaffirms our faith and if that isn’t magic I don’t know what is. I liked this funny and heartwarming movie and I loved the ending which delivered as only a good Disney movie could.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give A MOM FOR CHRISTMAS a big old 10, even though it’s a bit corny at time it’s still worth a watch.

A FAIRLY ODD CHRISTMAS 2012

--It took me awhile to get into this movie but when I did I enjoyed it although not as much as the children but that’s ok to. A FAIRLY ODD CHRISTMAS  funny and a little corny but I’m guessing it’s audience was geared toward children because mine were laughing so hard I had to keep turning the TV up. I found it very funny and at times quite enjoyable.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give A FAIRLY ODD CHRISTMAS a 10, would I pull it of the shelf to watch alone probably not, but if I can coral the children it would be one of the ones I’d grab.

A CHRISTMAS SNOW 2010

--I liked A CHRISTMAS SNOW because it showed how sometimes we can get trapped in a rut and need a little help. The movie had good chemistry and was both funny and heartwarming all at the same time.

A CHRISTMAS MEMORY 1997

--I’ll be the first to admit the only reason I sat down to watch this movie was because PATTY DUKE was in it, I’ve always liked her. Of course once the movie started I found myself instantly drawn into the movie and enjoying the ride. A CHRISTMAS MEMORY was funny, sad, and heartwarming all at the same time the chemistry of the cast made this movie a very enjoyable time.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give A CHRISTMAS MEMORY  a big old 10, it would make a fine addition to a family night of watching Christmas movies.

HOLIDAY ENGAGEMENT 2011

HELP FOR THE HOLIDAYS 2012

-Everybody needs a little help once in awhile and that’s what HELP FOR THE HOLIDAYS sets out to prove. I liked the movie because it was fun and the cast had a likeable chemistry about them.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give HELP FOR THE HOLIDAYS a 10, it’s one of those movies that makes you want to believe in special little helpers.

DEAR SANTA 2011

--I liked DEAR SANTA  because it was filled with enough heartwarming funny moments for two Christmas movies. In fact if they decide to make a sequel I’ll be watching that to.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give DEAR SANTA 10, it’s one of those movie you can watch again and again.

CHRISTMAS BUNNY 2010

--I know a Christmas movie filled with big fluffy bunnies. What more could you ask for in a Christmas movie. The CHRISTMAS BUNNY  was a very heartwarming movie and it would make a fine addition to a family night of Christmas movies.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give CHRISTMAS BUNNY a 10, it’s a movie you can watch more than once and that’s what makes a Christmas movie classic .

THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR 2008

--I love movies where fate plays a hand in the out come. Probably for the simple reason sometimes in life it was that one simple step or misstep that put us on our present path. Making us what we our today. THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR was funny and heartwarming all at the same time, probably because of the chemistry of the cast. It was really fun watching the young lady figure out what she really wanted was right in front of her all the time.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR  a10, it would make a nice addition to any family night of movies.

SNOW GLOBE 2007

--SNOW GLOBE was a bit different but in the end everybody found what they were looking for. I guess that’s what counts in a feel good movie. Even though it was a bit of a fantasy we usually throw it into our Christmas movie nights because it is after all a Christmas movie.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give SNOW GLOBE a 10 because I found it to be a very enjoyable movie that the whole family enjoyed very much.

--On a scale of 1 to 10 SNOW BUDDIES is a big old 10 in my book, we usually watch it in our Christmas movie nights.

THE SANTA PAWS MOVIES

--It’s sort of a two for in my book a Christmas movie filled with dogs it doesn’t really get any better than that. Sure there a little corny but that’s what leads to their charm I guess.
--On scale of 1 to 10 I give THE SANTA PAWS MOVIES a big old 10, their fun for the whole family.
SANTA PAWS 1 THE SEARCH FOR SANTA PAWS 2010

ANYTHING BUT CHRISTMAS 2012

--I liked this movie because it shows just how much a fella will go to keep the people he loves in his life. It was a very enjoyable Christmas movie filled with enough heartwarming moments to make it a regular entry in our Christmas night of movies.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give ANYTHING BUT CHRISTMAS a big old 10, it’s fun for the whole family.

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS 1991

--All I want for Christmas was fun and a little sad but thankfully everything worked out in the end. Usually I don’t like so many bumps in my Christmas movies but this movie made everything work so well we watch it every year in our Christmas movie nights.

--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give A CHRISTMAS ROMANCE a 10 everyone in our house enjoyed it even the dang fool teenagers.

CRAZY FOR CHRISTMAS 2005

--At first it seemed a little off putting then it settled down to tell the rest of the story. I guess it goes to prove you shouldn’t judge a movie by the first 5 min. CRAZY FOR CHRISTMAS was a funny heart warming movie that made for a very entertaining time.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give CRAZY FOR CHRISTMAS a 10 it was a very enjoyable movie with great performances from the whole cast.

DESPERATELY SEEKING SANTA 2011

--Watching DESPERATELY SEEKING SANTA was very entertaining, it was both funny and heartwarming at the same time. The ending more than made up for all the misguided nonsense in the middle of the movie.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give DESPERATELY SEEKING SANTA a big old 10, it‘s fun for the whole family-

FINDING MRS CLAUS 2012

--Ok maybe FINDING MRS CLAUS was a little sappy, but there was so much chemistry going on with the cast you really didn’t notice. And again if they came up with a sequel I know I’d be in line to watch it. I thought MR AND MRS CLAUS were perfect.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give FINDING MRS CLAUS a big old 10.

THE PARKER FAMILY MOVIES

--Ok it gets a little confusing but when you put them all together they make a better rounded picture of the Parker family. Yeah I know everybody has their favorites, but you should really give the others a chance. I did and let me tell you they’ve become my favorite movies for Christmas, and summer of course.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give all 3 PARKER FAMILY MOVIES a 10, and really fun to watch.

AN ACCIDENTAL CHRISTMAS 2007

--I liked this movie because sometimes the children have to act like adults when the adults won’t. The way the children got the dang fool parents to finally work things out was really heartwarming. AN ACCIDENTAL CHRISTMAS was both a very enjoyable movie.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give AN ACCIDENTAL CHRISTMAS  a 10, it’s fun for the whole family.

CHILLY CHRISTMAS 2012

--What’s not to like a Christmas movie with a dog Tom Arnold and C Thomas Howell at lest that’s what I figured when it started. Of course when things moved along I found out it was more than just a Doggy Christmas movie it was actually very good and quite heartwarming at times.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give CHILLY CHRISTMAS a 10, it really is more than just a Doggy movie…

CHRISTMAS MAIL 2010

CHRISTMAS CUPID 2010.…

--I thought CHRISTMAS CUPID was cute, and really fun to watch. I always like movies where the main character has to finds out that maybe they’ve been going in the wrong direction most of their life. In a lot of ways it mirror’s life sometimes and what we do with the rude awaking happens is all up to us.
--On a scale of I 10 10 I give CHRISTMAS CUPID  a big old 10, it really is a fun filled movie to watch with the whole family..

CHRISTMAS VACATION 1989

--Every year we drag out CHRISTMAS VACATION to start of our CHRISTMAS MOVIE NIGHTS. And we usually end up watching the dang fool movie at lest 5 or 6 times before CHRISTMAS. The misadventure of the GRISSWALD family has made some of our misadventures seem not so bad.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give CHRISTMAS VACATION a 8, because even though we watch the dang fool movie at lest 5 or 6 time we watch the one we taped of the TV because of the stupid parts they added that had no business being in a CHRISTMAS MOVIE. If your watching the DVD you better keep the remote handy. Because of those parts I wouldn’t watch it with small children in the room.

LOVE ACTUALLY 2003

--Ok I loved the movie, in fact every time I watch it I love, LOVE ACTUALLY even more if that’s possible. I just wish they could of left the part with the porn set nudity out. I mean it didn’t really fit and if they wanted they could of found a way to film around all the dang fool nudity. Other wise I think the movie is great and when it comes to the porn set I fast forward through the nonsense. Maybe someday people will realize they can make entertaining movies that aren’t filled with so much nonsense.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give LOVE ACTUALLY a 8.5 and that’s only because of that one part on the porn set.

MARRIED BY CHRISTMAS 2016

A WISH FOR CHRISTMAS 2016

--I found A WISH FOR CHRISTMAS to be very enjoyable, of course it was pretty much a given from the get go as to how the movie would end because it was a HALLMARK  movie. I found that the producers of A WISH FOR CHRISTMAS kept their options open right up to the end keeping us guessing along the way.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give A WISH FOR CHRISTMAS a 10,it‘s makes for a very enjoyable time..

THE GOLDEN CHRISTMAS MOVIES…

--What’s not to love a Christmas movie with a dog, ok maybe they could of kept the same people from the first movie for the second one, and again for the third, but you know what it still worked. Sort of makes you wonder if the cast is really all that important to a sequel.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give THE GOLDEN CHRISTMAS MOVIES a 10, their fun for the whole family.
A GOLDEN CHRISTMAS A TALE OF PUPPY LOVE 2009
A GOLDEN CHRISTMAS: THE SECOND TAIL AKA 3 HOLIDAY TAILS 2011
A GOLDEN CHRISTMAS 3 HOME FOR CHRISTMAS 2012

THE GOLDBERGS SEASON 4 EPISODE 6

--There’s something about this dang fool show that I can’t help but like, and episode 6 of season 4 didn’t disappoint in that department. It’s nice to sit down and actually enjoy a TV show that seems to take making people laugh seriously.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I still give THE GOLDBERGS a big old 10 if you like to laugh check it out.

STAN AGAINST EVIL SEASON 1 EPISODE 3 & 4

--Ok the first two episodes were kind of different and I guess that’s what made them interesting. Or it could be after a summer of watching repeat’s just about anything different sparks the old interest. I will say episode 3&4 were still different, but some of the story was getting a little tiring by the time episode 4 ended.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d probably have to give the dang fool show a 5, hopefully somebody will figure out how to cut back on the gore, and a wee bit of the gloominess.

SPEECHLESS SEASON 1 EPISODE 6

--Watching this is a reminder of what TV can be like if they climb out of the potty pool and actually try to write something with heart and a dash of funny to boot. Each episode just keeps getting better and better which thankfully I for one find refreshing and hope they can maintain there hold. --On a scale of 1 to 10 I still give SPEECHLESS   a big old 10, if you like funny with your heart you should check it out..

THE MAN WHO WASN’T THERE…

--I’m sure somebody thought this movie was a good idea, myself I couldn’t find much of a reason. I found it hard to watch at times, and I think maybe who ever made this dang fool thing knew how bad it was because about halfway through they went for the keep the audience attention with a bunch of nudity.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give THE MAN WHO WASN’T THERE a 3, and even then I probably wouldn’t watch it again if there was wet paint nearby..

THE APPLE DUMPLING GANG MOVIES….

--Sure the movies were a little corny but that’s what made them such a enjoyable time. And they had TIM CONWAY and DON KNOTTS so you knew there were bound to be funny. Even after all these years they still hold up and are just as funny if not more than when they first came out. Being that were going through a drought of funny without smut these days. Oh sure they blame it on the changing times but it just that it’s so much easier to make cheap smutty movies than to try and make something that’s filled with good writing and wit.
--On scale of 1 to 10 I give THE APPLE DUMPLING MOVIES a big old 10, there fun for the whole family like good comedies should be…

                        THE APPLE DUMPLING GANG 1975
THE APPLE DUMPLING GANG RIDES AGAIN 1979

LIVE A LITTLE LOVE A LITTLE….

--I was surprised at how funny this movie was but then again maybe not because besides being a good singer ELVIS PRESLEY was a very funny guy. The movie moved right along and only took time out for two songs which was kind of a shame but that’s ok to.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give LIVE A LITTLE LOVE A LITTLE a big old 10...

CHRISTMAS WEDDING 2006

--Ok tis the season and all that, CHRISTMAS WEDDING was fun with not to much drama and it had a heart warming ending which is what I really like in my CHRISTMAS movies. And lets not forget the chemistry CHRISTMAS WEDDING had chemistry to spare so much so that we even watched the credits.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 CHRISTMAS WEDDING I’d have to give it a big old 10. It’s fun for the whole family and pretty entertaining to boot.

CHARMING CHRISTMAS 2015

--I liked CHARMING CHRISTMAS  the first time I saw it, it had that special feel right from the start. The cast gave of so much chemistry that it didn’t take long to become totally engrossed in the plot, which is as it should be in a good movie. But that’s pretty much what you get when it comes to a HALLMARK movie and CHARMING CHRISTMAS doesn’t let you down in that department.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give CHARMING CHRISTMAS a big old 10, it’s the kind of movie you don’t mind watching more than once.

THE FLUBBER MOVIES…

--Say what you will about DISNEY but they sure no how to make some fine entertainment. I suppose everyone has a favorite or two and I’m no exception. THE FLUBBER MOVIES are some of our favorites. They have everything you ask fore and more fun comedy and a little adventure. All wrapped in a family friendly package that you really can relax watching. Which in this day and age is getting harder and harder to do.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give THE FLUBBER MOVIES a 10, they really are a nice start to a weekend of family TV viewing.

                  THE ABSENT MINDED PROFESSOR 1960

THE LIFE AND TIMES OF GRIZZLY ADAMS….

--We fell in love with THE LIFE AND TIMES OF GRIZZLY ADAMS right from the first episode. It had everything we love animals and plenty of heartwarming adventure with sprinkles of comedy throughout. MONK….

--Monk was special for 8 seasons He never failed to deliver on top notch entertainment with a comedic twist. Something that’s getting harder and harder to find on TV. Unfortunately we seem to have swung in the other direction but I guess that’s what reruns are for.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I give MONK A 10, it’s fun and entertaining which is something that’s getting harder and harder to find these days.

. FROSTY AFTERNOON....

--Waffles has a thing about the cold He doesn't really like it. Oh He'll go out to do His business but you better be ready to open the door when He's done or He's going to go whack a doodle crazy. And actually I really can't blame the little fool I'm not to fond of the cold myself so I make sure I'm at the door when the little fool is ready.
--Usually everything works out fine, easy pesy. Except today of course when I went to the door to let Waffles in the little fool wasn't there. So of course being the big old fool that I am I had to get my coat and go look for the little fool.
--It took me a few minutes but after stumbling around the dang fool yard I finally found Waffles behind the house scratching His back on a low hanging tree branch.
--Apparently Waffles doesn't mind the cold when there's a good back scratch to be had. When Waffles saw me He came over all excited and let me know about His new find. Despite being angry with the little fool I couldn't help but laugh and I was happy for Him I know I like good back scratch myself from time to time.....

THE DEXTER RILEY MOVIES…

THE COMPUTER WORE TENNIS SHOES   1995

RETURN TO MAYBERRY….

--RETURN TO MAYBERRY was a fun movie to watch it fun to see how well the whole gang had aged. Of course the plot was a little silly, but hey that’s what old Mayberry was about. I only had one problem with the movie it was just to dang short. But it did give us a excuse to have a ANDY GRIFFTH night so I guess wasn’t so bad after all.
--On scale of 1 to 10 I give RETURN TO MAYBERRY a 10 it’s a nice stroll down memory lane..

COMPLETE SAVAGES 2004….

--It only lasted for 20 episodes but that’s ok because that’s what the rewind button is for. that’s just how funny this show is. And it’s really a shame they weren’t given more of a chance to build a audience base but I guess that’s how the game is played. At lest they left us 20 episodes to enjoy.

I wasn’t disappointed it was very funny and enjoyable. Of course they canceled it but the repeats offer up a excuse for a KYLE BORNHEIMER Night of TV viewing as far as I’m concerned. If you enjoy a good clean laugh then check out WORST WEEK and FAMILY TOOLS you won’t be disappointed.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give FAMIL;Y TOOLS  a big old 10, it’s a little adult in places but if older folks need a little funny once in awhile….

--I found the first episode of HIM to be very good, it kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole show. It was without a doubt some of the best TV viewing I’ve seen in along time. What impressed me was that it was a honest drama that wasn’t propped up by tons of gore or smut.

REJOICING IN THE CRUMBS....

--Finding three mice on the counter having a party with the crumbs somebody forgot to sweep up when they were done isn't really the first thing you want to see when your looking for that first cup of coffee. Especially since the dang fool cats who's supposed to catch the furry little darlings is sleeping on the toaster oven not 12 inches away from the dang fool mice.
--I suppose it was a long night of waiting that's why he crashed on the toaster oven, of course if he didn't let the things go after he caught them we'd probably have less mice. But I have to give him credit at lest he tries, and in this day and age there's something to be said for that.
--So I waved a angry fist at the dang fool mice and let poor Gandolf, sleep for a bit. Waffles was a little perplexed and kept shaking his head at me while he digested the sight.
--Of course when I came back for that second cup of coffee I let Gandolf know just how much of a lazy bum, I thought he was, but luckily for him he was awake and back looking for mice.
--I guess sometimes even cats need to recharge....

CENTENNIAL….

--Everyone in our house loved CENTENNIAL and we usually fin a excuse to drag it out and watch it at lest once a year. Not only is the acting first rate but the view is quite nice to. It makes for some of the most entertaining time spent in front of the old TV.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give CENTENNIAL a big old 10, it’s fun for the whole family and makes for a very entertaining time…

HOW THE WEST WAS WON…

--Watching  James Arness is always a pleasure, watching him in HOW THE WEST WAS WON was just a treat. HOW THE WEST WAS WON was such a pleasure from start to finish we usually find a excuse to watch it at lest once a year. Of course that was back when people were more concerned with entertainment and playing in the smut pool.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give HOW THE WEST WAS WON  a 10, it’s fun for the whole family…

THE ROCKFORD FILES…

--For some reason I’ve always had a softy spot for JAMES GARDNER I liked his movies and really liked most of his TV shows.
--In THE ROCKFORD FILES HE REALLY shines as well as the whole cast, it makes it a lot easier to watch . Amazingly he seemed to appeal to a wide the wide range of people in our house it was one of the shows everyone could agree upon.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give THE ROCKFORD FILES  a big old 10, even now after all these years everyone still loves to watch a few episodes when these nothing on worth watching….

BRET MAVERICK….

--Watching JAMES GARDNER is always a pleasure as far as I’m concerned, and watching him play BRET MAVERICK was a treat. The chemistry radiating from the whole cast makes the 18 episodes of BRET MAVERICK such a treat you can’t help but fall in love with it from the start.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give BRET MAVERICK a 10, it’s really fun for the whole family…

THE CAT FROM OUTER SPACE…

--Watching a movie about a cat from outer space wasn’t really much of a stretch it seems we’ve been living with nothing but a bunch of space cadets for years. We liked the movie and usually find a reason to watch it at lest once a year I guess because were cat people.
--On a scale of 1 to10 I’d have to give THE CAT FROM OUTER SPACE  a big old 10. It may be old but it’s loaded with enough fun for the whole family.

40 BELOW AND FALLING AT CHRISTMAS…

--I like movies where fate plays a hand in the outcome, it reminds me a lot of life and how were often held hostage by that little fellas whims.
--The movie was a real pleasure to watch and view was real nice along the way. Not only was it a romantic comedy but it was a romantic comedy with heart which is sometimes hard to find these days.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give 40 BELOW AND FALLING AT CHRISTMAS a big old 10...

STAN AGAINST EVIL SEASON 1 EPISODE 1 & 2

--I’ve always liked John C. McGinley and I have to admit he was the only reason I watched this dang fool show. I usually don’t like this type of gore fest, and between you and me could do without the splatters when they get rid of a demon. I found it kind of funny but also a tad gory but I guess that’s because it’s a adult show. To be honest if it weren’t for John C Mc Ginley I probably wouldn’t go back and watch this dang fool thing but like I said I always like John C Mc Ginley so I probably will put it on my watch schedule. Of course keeping the dang fool remote handy it’s a tad gory for me.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give STAN AGAINST EVIL a 8, it’s a tad gory for me but I did think it was funny in a weird kind of way. It’s really a adult show and if you watch it be prepared for a bit of gore….

A ROUGH AND TUMBLE NIGHT.....

--Kittens have tons of energy and they can go for hours before they feel a need to take a nap. You would think two people who raised four children would of remembered that when they invited four kittens to share their house. It's amazing what you forget as you grow older.
--Of course kittens are furry little bundles of cuteness, so the can get away with just about anything. And I'm beginning to suspect they know just how cute they are judging by the amount of mischief the little darlings manage to get into.
--Trying to convince four kittens it's bedtime is really a waste of time, because they just got to much energy.  And actually you really can't blame them because you remember those days when you thought you could go all night.
--So instead of trying to fight with the little darlings to get them to go to sleep you just give them a big old comfy basket and let them know where it is.  It's probably not the best plan but it sure is easier and amazingly the little darling love their basket so much when you can't find them that's where they'll probably be.
--Some times there's more than one way to achieve our goals.....

SON IN LAW 1993...

--We’ve watched this movie probably at lest once a year since it first came out and it  usually makes it into our PAULY SHORE night when we have one. There were a few parts I personally think could have been left out, but that’s probably just me. I will say everyone enjoys the movie so much the have been a few times where we’ve watched it twice.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give SON IN LAW  a 10, it can be a little rough for little children but teenagers and adults should find it entertaining.

IN THE ARMY NOW 1994...

--When we have a PAULY SHORE night this movie is one we try to watch, sometimes it makes the cut and sometimes we just have a special addition I guess. The chemistry between the cast is what makes this movie enjoyable, even though again there were a few spots I think they could of left out and still had a fairly good movie. But I guess when your making movies you have to find a balance between all the markets.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give IN THEW ARMY NOW a big old 10...

PETTICOAT JUNCTION….

--Yeah it could be kind of corny at time but it sure made for some interesting nights watching the gall’s at the shady rest hotel. The thing that was nice was even though the children were younger they really enjoyed the show to. Especially when there was a cross over with THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES or GREEN ACRES.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give PETTICOAT JUNCTION a big old 10, it would be nice if some of those dang fool TV people took a look at some of these classics and tried to figure out a to bring back some of the core values they portrayed.

THE DISORDERLY ORDERLY….

--When it comes to be funny JERRY LEWIS is so good he really doesn’t even have to speck. THE DISORDERLY ORDERLY 1964 is funny and even kind of heart warming which surprisingly most of JERRY LEWIS’S movies are.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give THE DISORDERLY ORDERLY 1964 a big old 10...

FURRY VENGEANCE 2010...

--I like FURRY VENGEANCE  the first time I saw it, mostly because I like BRENDAN FRASER when he’s being funny. And in FURRY VENGEANCE he doing what he does best and that’s being funny. Of course the animals with the attitude help make the movie a real laugh fest.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give FURY VENGEANCE a big old 10...

THE GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE MOVIES…

--It’s not very often when two movies can hit all the right notes and have to different actors in the leading role but THE GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE MOVIES do just that. Besides being funny they arte also kind of heartwarming to which makes them all the more watch able.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE MOVIES a big old 10.
         GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE    1997
GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE 2 2003

THE MUMMY MOVIES..

--I’ll be the first to admit that the only reason we watched the first MUMMY MOVIE was to see BRENDAN FRASER in it. Of course as for the rest of the movies well they quickly became a guilty pleasure that had us trying to find a excuse for a MUMMY MOVIE night much to my wife’s displeasure. The movies were filled with thrills adventure and comedy without going to far on the gore scale. Even though there were a few parts I wish they had left out but that’s what a remote is for I guess.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give THE MUMMY MOVIES a big old 10.

           THE MUMMY 1999
           THE MUMMY RETURNS 2001
THE MUMMY TOMB OF DRAGON EMPEROR 2008

THE TOOTH FAIRY MOVIES….

--We really liked both these movies when we first saw them, and the best part was they found a way to be funny without being childish or filled with gross bathroom humor. Which was something that in this day and age seems to be a miracle.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give THE TOOTH FAIRY MOVIES a big old 10, there fun for the whole family, and make for some family night viewing…
        TOOTH FAIRY             2010
        THE TOOTH FAIRY 2 2012

THE MANY LOVES OF DOBIE GILLIS….

--There’s something about watching the trials of DOBIE GILLIS that all of us seemed to enjoy. The children loved the dang fool show almost as much as I did which made it a lot easier.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE MANY LOVE OF DOBIE GILLIS a big old 10.

THE LIFE OF RILEY…

--I always liked THE LIFE OF RILEY there’s something about watching RILEY come to terms with his family that I could really relate to. Of course the children weren’t to impressed when they first watched it but they were patient and learned to enjoy it almost as much as I did.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE LIFE OF RILEY  a big old 10.

ANDY GRIFFTH….

--When things are getting a little wonky and I really need a good laugh I put a couple of episodes of THE ANDY GRIFFTH SHOW in there’s something about watching the misadventure of BARNEY and ANDY that puts thing in perspective.
--When we have CLASSIC TV night we always throw a couple of episode of THE ANDY GRIFFTH SHOW into the mix.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give THE ANDY GRIFFTH SHOW A BIG OLD 10, it’s got something for the whole family…

GREEN ACRES….

--When the children were little there wasn’t to much on regular TV worth watching everything seemed to filled with thinly covered smut, or just plain not very good. So my wife and I decided that if we couldn’t find anything to watch we’d take a trip back in time and watch some of the old classics. And amazingly it worked out pretty good everyone fell in love with a lot of the old shows.
--One of out favorites was GREEN ACRES I guess the children could relate because our house always seemed a little off when it came to certain thing’s.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give GREEN ACRES a big old 10, it’s filled with plenty of good natured humor and you don’t have to watch with the remote clutched tightly in your hand you can actually relax and enjoy yourself…

I DREAM OF JENNIE…

--Watching the misadventures of Major Nelson, with dear old JENNIE still makes for some entertaining TV viewing after all these years. There was something special about the show that still holds up even today.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give I DREAM OF JENNIE  a 10, it’s the kind of show you can watch and enjoy without to much fuss…

I LOVE LUCY….

--Back before everyone became concerned about other things besides good family entertainment you could still find episodes of I LOVE LUCY on regular TV. Then people were forced to buy videos or DVD’s of their favorite shows.
--When the children were younger we watched I LOVE LUCY  and they loved it. There was something quite special about LUCY and her misadventures.
--On scale of 1 to 10 I’d give I LOVE LUCY a 10 with no problem it’s fun for everyone who likes to laugh.

Monday, November 7, 2016

THE ADAMS FAMILY….

--The children loved THE ADAMS FAMILY I wasn’t to impressed but over time and many views I’ve come to change my impression and actually fall in love with those whack a doodle ADAMS.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE ADAMS FAMILY a big old 10, they may be a bunch of whack a doodles but they sure are fun to watch…

FRIENDS….

--When my wife told me about FRIENDS years ago I figured I humor her and give it a peek. Amazingly I found quite funny, and even managed to fall in love with the dang fool show as much as my wife did. When they decided to pull the pull after 10 years we were a little disappointed especially since they only had time to make 17 episodes. I know it’s probably a tad petty but when you get used to 25 episodes it kind of feel like your getting a little short changed. Especially when you watch the dang fool show faithfully for 10 years. But hey I suppose it could be worse at lest we have the DVDs to watch.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give FRIENDS a 10, even though the whole Ross Rachel thing wears a little thin.

THE GREEN HORNET….

--We used to watch the GREEN HORNET on Saturday nights with a couple of old action shows. The children loved it and even now that their older when we have classic night they still find time for a few episodes of THE GREEN HORNET.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE GREEN HORNET a big old 10. It may be old but the action still hold up even today.

BATMAN….

--Just about everyone’s seen all the movies and everybody has their favorite BATMAN. Myself I like them all I think they each bring a different perspective to the role and that’s what counts.
--We used to enjoy watching a few episodes of the old BATMAN TV show when the children were younger. And when we have CLASSIC TV night having BATMAN on tap for watching never fails to bring everybody out for a seat.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give BATMAN a 10, it makes for a very enjoyable night of family viewing.

BONANZA….

--Some nights when I couldn’t find anything on the current TV schedule that I could let the children watch I start digging into the classic TV vault. Actually it was a book shelf filled with videos that I taped of TV.
--One of our favorites was BONANZA the misadventures of BEN, HOSS, LITTLE JOE and ADAM would keep us entertained for hours.
--With really loved the funny episodes even though the others were good we just enjoyed a good laugh I guess.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give BONANZA 1o with no problem it’s fun for everyone..

GUNSMOKE….

--I have to be honest I only like the funny episodes of GUMSMOKE thankfully there were quite a few. The other episodes although probably very good entertainment I just never found to appealing.
--When the children were younger I would play some of the more funny episodes for them and they loved them. Even now when we have classic TV night they all flock out when they hear we’ll be watching a couple of old GUMSOMKES.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give GUNSMOKE a 10, even though some of the episodes were a little dark and depressing at time, the funny ones more than made up for it.

CARPOOL….

--When we first watched CARPOOL there was a lot of finger pointing going on it seemed everybody had a person in the movie they could identify with. And then of course there was Tom Arnold he sort of made the movie for us.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give CARPOOL  a big old 10 the whole family should find a laugh or two with this one….

RHUBARB….

--Ok it’s about a cat, and yeah that’s why we put the dang fool thing and watched it. But 5 minutes into it we realized it was way more that just about a cat it was a classic that we would be destined to drag out from time to time when we needed as boost in our daily lives. When we have classic movie night in our house it seems to be the only thing that gets everybody on the same page and gets the dang fool do dads shut down for a bit. Of course the family time is a added bonus in my book.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give RUBARD a big old 10...

THE ADVENTURES OF BULLWHIP GRIFFIN….

--The first time we watched this we fell in love with it and it became one of those movies we watched on our adventure night when the children were younger. And I might add a few times since they’ve gotten older, it seems the movie holds up over time. Something a lot of the never movies fail; to do.
--On a scale of 1` to 10 I’d have to give THE ADVENTURE OF BULLWHIP GRIFFIN a big old 10, it really fun for the whole family…

HARDLY WORKING….

--I like Jerry Lewis movies, they never fail to make me laugh. Every once in awhile we have a JERRY LEWIS night at our house. HARDLY WORKING is one of our favorites. The thing the poor fella goes through trying to find the perfect job are heart breaking, especially since in the end the job he had in the beginning was the one that made him the happiest.
--On scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give HARDLY WORKING a big old 10...

THE FAMILY JEWELS….

--We liked this movie I guess because it was fun watching JERRY LEWIS playing so many different parts. Of course the life lesson that came with the laughter was a added bonus..
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE FAMILY JEWELS a big old 10...

WHO’S MINDING THE STORE….

--There’s not to many things that you can count on any more when it comes to the movies, even though we all have our favorite stars it seems somewhere along the line it stopped being about the people who fed the movie machine with their hard earned dollars and more about stroking ego’s of the star‘s acting in the dang fool movies. I don’t know how many movies I’ve had to walk out of or turn off in the last few years because they were just not my cup of tea.
--When it comes to comedy apparently low down and smutty seems to be the song of the day, because that seems to be all were seeing these days. WHO’S MINDING THE STORE is a gentle reminder of just how far we’ve fallen when it comes to some of the comedy’s of the last few years.
--WHO’S MINDING THE STORE is both funny and heartwarming all at the same time which makes it such a pleasure to watch.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give WHO’S MINDING THE STORE a big old 10.…

WORST WEEK….

--It only lasted for one season but boy did it make a impact especially in our house. Every once in awhile when we need a boost we put this little gem in. It never fails to lift our spirits. It’s funny, without being rude, and at times very heat warming. Of course some of the topics are a little adult, so I wouldn’t let children watch it. But it’ll definitely give you a chuckle or two.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd have to give WORST WEEK a big old 10....

WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE….

--When my children were younger they used to love this show and actually talked me into watching a few episodes. And I was surprised that the dang fool thing was actually pretty good. Of course it wasn’t long before I was sitting done to watch it with the little darling’s. It’s not for everyone but it does manage to hit the funny button more often than not and there’s something to be said for that these days.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE a big old 10, it made for some fun times watching with the children….

THE BILL ENGVALL SHOW SEASON 1 TO 3

--I was kind of surprised by this little gem, it was actually funny without being smutty, and actually quite enjoyable. Unfortunately there’s only 3 season of this show but it makes for some entertaining TV viewing when your waiting for your favorite shows to have a new episode.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE BILL ENGVALL SHOW a 10. There’s something for everyone on this show..

THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES…

--Usually when the weeks just about over and were looking fore something to fill in the gaps before our favorite shows have a new episode we’ll put in some of our old favorites. THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES are one of our favorites. It’s fun and you don’t have to watch it with the dang fool remote in your hand because your on the look out for some wayward smut. And even though the children are a bit older it’s one of the few shows everybody seems to enjoy and that’s a two for in my book.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES a 10, it’s still fun for the whole family after all these years…

KATTS AND DOG TV SHOW….

--We liked this show right from the start, it had everything we were looking for and more. Yeah some of the acting could have been a tad better, but as the show went on everything seemed to mesh better. And you didn’t mind because the show was funny and even had a little action.
On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give KATTS  AND DOG a big old 10 it’s fun for the whole family at our house..

LIFE’S A BOWL OF CHERRIES…

--For some reason the saying LIFE’S A BOWL OF CHERRIES always got to me when I was a child. Mostly because I didn’t really understand it, and I always thought something was missing from the dang fool saying. But what did I know I was a child, as all the grownups I ran into were more than happy to point out.
--Well it turns out many years later I was right there was more to the dang fool saying, LIFE’S A BOWL OF CHERRIES, YOU JUST HAVE TO BE CAREFUL YOU DON’T CHOKE ON THE PIT’S.
--Of if it hadn’t taken so long to figure out the rest of the dang fool thing I probably wouldn’t of spent so long choking on those dang fool pit’s. But I guess that’s life as they say.
--Unlike the grownups of my childhood I always made sure I explained things to my children when I started spouting from the good book of old saying. Old saying are nice to fall back on but they don’t do much good if nobody understands the dang fool things….

THE ODD COUPLE 1970...

--I wasn’t a real big fan of this version of THE ODD COUPLE. It seemed at times that some of the jokes were quite mean spirited but maybe that was just me. I did enjoy the supporting cast and I think that was the only reason I watched the show at times.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE ODD COUPLE 1970 a 8. I recently sat down and watched a couple of episodes and found that some of the jokes were mean spirited but I guess that was part of the humor.

THE ODD COUPLE MOVIES…

--I love THE ODD COUPLE MOVIES even though I think the second one was a little late it was still good in my book. And the best part was you didn’t have to hold the remote you could actually enjoy the movie with having to worry about the smut train leaving the station with you as a unwilling passenger.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE ODD COUPLE MOVIES a big old 10.
          --THE ODD COUPLE    1968
          --THE ODD COUPLE 2 1998

THE ODD COUPLE 2015 SEASON 3...

--The only reason I started watching this version of THE ODD COUPLE was Mathew Perry. When he funny he can be very entertaining to watch, when he’s not well lets just say watching paint dry can be more entertaining. But thankfully he’s being funny in spades here, even though at times the whole slob thing gets a tad old, the mixture with the rest of the cast seems to mesh like a well oiled machine. And when it comes to a comedy that’s what you need. This version works so well I’m usually laughing when the credits start to run.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE ODD COUPLE 2015 a big old 10...

MY BIG FAT GREEK LIFE SEASON 1...

--Sometimes a gem never makes it very far out of the gate so we have to enjoy it while we can. MY BIG FAT GREEK LIFE is just such a gem, there may not be very many but they are sure worth watching along with the movies they make a fun evening of family entertainment you can actually enjoy.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give MY BIG FAT GREEK LIFE  a big old 10...

MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING MOVIES….

--My wife and I loved the movies, when we first saw them. And now they have joined our other romantic comedy favorite. They make the perfect addition to a romantic comedy night.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE MY BIG FAT GEEK WEDDING MOVIES a big old 10...
--MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING    2002
--MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING 2 2016

THE GLADES….

--I liked THE GLADES until some Wing Nut decided to cancel it. But then it might not have been so bad if they hadn’t of left the viewer hanging out on a limb waiting to find out what in Sam hill happened. But I guess we should be thankful we have the repeats up until the fatal end.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE GLADES a big old 10, it was funny, charming and quite the little mystery for a 1 hour show.

IN PLAIN SIGHT….

--I liked IN PLAIN SIGHT before some Wing Nut decided to cancel it. And then if that wasn’t bad enough they went and short changed the viewer out of 5 episodes. I mean for 4 season 13 episodes , then comes season 5 with just 8. I guess somebody was in a hurry to pull the plug.
--The show was funny, sad, charming and very heart warming it made for a very entertaining hour of TV watching.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give IN PLAIN SIGHT a big old 10.

MYSTERIOUS WAYS….

--I liked the whole idea behind the show investigating strange things and that’s why we started watching it. Of course what we found was a show that was funny charming and heart warming all at the same time without being sappy. It made for a very enjoyable hour of TV viewing..
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give MYSTERIOUS WAYS a big old 10, it makes for a fine addition to a family night of TV viewing….

WHITE FANG THE TV SHOW ….

--There aren’t many episodes of WHITE FANG but the ones that are out there are worth the watch especially if you like dog shows with some really beautiful nature shots. And the best part it’s a show you can watch with the whole family.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give WHITE FANG a big old 10.

THE LITTLEST HOBO…

--We started watching this because we like Dogs and T V shows with Dogs in them I guess. Of course what we found was a charming heart warming TV show that was really good.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE LITTLEST HOBO a big old 10, if you like Dogs it’s really worth a peek. And it’s really fun for the whole family to boot so that’s a two for in my book.

I LOVE TO SING ….

--For some reason kittens love to sing at all hours of the night, it’s not to bad during the day when everybody’s up and about, but definitely leaves something to be desired when your trying to sleep.
--Of course in the House of Whack a Doodle we’ve been blessed with 4 little darlings who just love to sing. And if they feel your not paying attention to the song their singing they’ll crawl up on your bed and sing in your while your trying to sleep.
--Needles to say this proves to be a tad annoying, but like most things with a little patience it can be overcome.
--It really is amazing what a recording of the sounds of nature will do to a bunch of little opera stars. I guess some of the things you learned trying to claim a teething child come in handy after all.

DANCER AND THE DAME…

--Besides a good romantic comedy, I love a good animal movie. You know something that’s funny and heartwarming but not to sappy.
--DANCER AND THE DAME fits all the right stuff into the package with plenty of room to spare.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give DANCER AND THE DAME a big old 10, it’s usually the first step in our animal movie night…

THE K-9 MOVIES…

--I like the K-9 MOVIES but there are times I wish James Belushi would be quiet for a bit. I think they could of left a few thing out of the movies but that’s what remote are for I guess.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE K-9 MOVIES a big old 10, but that’s only because I really liked the dog.
         --K-9
         --K-9 2
         --K-9 PI

SHOOT THE MESSENGER SEASON 1 EPISODE 1...

--Usually when I watch TV it with the dang fool remote in my hand, so I can either stop or fast forward. And usually when I have to fast forward in the first 2 minutes it’s not a good sign. I was really shocked when it turned out SHOOT THE MESSENGER got better, and turned out to be a half way decent mystery. Now if they don’t get distracted it me be half way decent TV show.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give the first episode of SHOOT THE MESSENGER a 7, hopefully the next episode will be a tad better.

FOLKS…

--When ever my wife and I are having a bad day we put FOLKS at night it makes everything seem pale compared to the stuff that happens to the poor fella in the movie.
--It is a adult movie I wouldn’t let children watch it, but it will put things into perspective when it comes to rating bad days
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give FOLKS a 8, because there are a couple of parts I think they could left out and still had a good movie. As it is thank god for remotes…

Cookie day....

THE GENTLE BEN MOVIES….

--I find it amazing that one company can keep hitting it out of the park when it comes to movies. But once again Hallmark has proven that when it comes to family entertainment they know what their doing.
--I liked both THE GENTLE BEN MOVIES, as far as I’m concerned they make a fine night of TV viewing with the family and I’d have to give them both a big old 10.
       --GENTLE BEN THE MOVIE

TURNER & HOOCH….

--When we first saw this movie we fell in love with it, and now it’s part of our animal night of movies. I love watching the fella realize that maybe he hadn’t quite figured out everything like he thought. And the dog well he makes the whole movie.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give TURNER & HOOCH  a big old 10...

THE THAT DARN CAT MOVIES….

--Take your pick we liked both versions of the movie, or maybe it was just the fact we liked the cat. Either way when we have a animal night the THAT DARN CAT MOVIES are in the running. They have a little comedy action and a lot of laughs all the way through and that’s something we like in a animal night.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give the THAT DARN CAT MOVIES a big old 10.
            --THAT DARN CAT 1965
            --THAT DARN CAT 1997

THE LITTLE HELPER…

--It’s nice when everybody pitches in and lends a hand, it makes the work go a lot faster. Sometimes you actually get lucky and thing go right quick.
--When there’s kittens in the house it tends to make things a bit problematic, mostly because the little fools think scattering the dirt when your sweeping is helping.
--Of course every once in awhile a kitten comes along who will actually go under the furniture and get the dirt for you. Yeah I know it doesn’t happen very often, when it happened to me today I thought I was seeing things.
--It seems that one of the little kittens thought it was funny to help me gather the dirt. Which worked out right nice. Of course the other fools would scatter it as fast as I could sweep it up so I guess it balanced out ….

THE MIDDLE SEASON 8...

--Right from the start we liked THE MIDDLE, it had the right amount of quirkiness to make it feel like you were looking in our own windows at time. And the chemistry that the cast gives off is amazing and it also makes the show easier to watch.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE MIDDLE a big old 10...

CRAZY HEADS SEASON 1 EPISODE 1...

--I don’t really know what I expected when I sat down to watch this. What I found was a show a lot like others I’ve seen but also very different, and it’s that difference that will make me go back and check out another episode. I will say it’s a adult show, so I wouldn’t let children watch it. But if they don’t get distracted to much it might make for some entertaining TV viewing.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give CRAZY HEADS a 7.5 it was alright but  nothing I saw in the first episode made it stand out to much. Hopefully they’ll be able to work out the kinks as they move on.

SKIPTRACE

--To be honest I only started watching this movie because JACKIE CHAN  was in it. I finished watching it because it was really good, oh there were parts where it got a little confusing but they didn't last long, and the view more than made up for any confusion.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give SKIPTRACE  a big old 10. I think now that JACKIE CHAN has gotten a little older he's making a lot better movies.....

THE GEISHA BOY…

--Every once in awhile we like to have a JERRY LEWIS MOVIE NIGHT at our house. And it’s usually THE GEISHA BOY we start with because everybody loves Harry the rabbit. Of course JERRY LEWIS is pretty good to.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE GEISHA BOY a 10. It’s fun for everyone…

THE OLD FLAMING SERENITY TREE....

--Watching the sunrise is especially nice in the fall because it casts a flaming glow to the old serenity tree. Which helps put things in perspective as the old year comes slowly to a end. It's one of the reasons I like fall I guess, there's a lot of hidden messages in those slowly changing leaves.
--Of course my wife just nodes here head an smiles when I wonder of about the beauty of the falling leaves. But I have a feeling she kinds of likes them to, there are times when I catch her staring out the window at lest once a day.
--And the be fair they do paint a pretty picture all scattered across the lawn....

MYSTERY KITTEN PAY'S A VISIT....

--Every once in awhile a kitten comes along who goes against the grain and actually seems to like the people who spring for his/her food. Such seems to be the case with MYSTERY KITTEN.
--When I opened the door to let Waffles out to do his business , MYSTERY KITTEN came running in. At first I thought He/She came in to raid Gandolf's food dish, but when he/she passed Gandolf's food dish to go sit in my wife's chair I got the feeling something was up.
--Of course when my wife came out in the kitchen and the dang fool cat crawled into my wife's lap and started purring, I figured we had us a friendly cat, not one you had to chase to try and get a few pets in.
--My wife looked at me as she was petting the little fool and said, "You know I think she might be happy to see me..."
--Which of course the dang fool cats was she followed my wife everywhere she went. But what do you expect when your dealing with the cat lady .....

THE GOOD WITCH MOVIES…

--Every once in awhile a series of movies comes along that not only makes you feel better about life, but actually goes so far as to inspire you to be a better person, THE GOOD WITCH MOVIES are that kind of series.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE GOOD WITCH MOVIES  a big old 10. They are filled with mystery romance and tons of comedy all wrapped in a family atmosphere that makes the whole movie work.
--2008 THE GOOD WITCH
--2009 THE GOOD WITCH’S GARDEN
--2010 THE GOOD WITCH’S GIFT
--2011 THE GOOD WITCH’S FAMILY
--2012 THE GOOD WITCH’S CHARM
--2013 THE GOOD WITCH’S DESTINY
--2014 THE GOOD WITCH’S WONDER

THE GOOD WITCH SEASON 1 & 2..

--Picking up where the movies leave of and moving forward THE GOOD WITCH TV SHOW continues the whole feel good magic of the movies and then some which is what a good spin of should do.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give THE GOOD WITCH SEASON 1 & 2 a big old 10. It’s fun for the whole family in spades once again the HALLMARK CHANNEL has out done themselves.

YOU CAN’T TAKE IT WITH YOU….

--We love this movie so much it quickly moved into our JAMES STEWART NIGHT of movies. The whole cast shies so much your still laughing and smiling when the credits start to run.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give YOU CAN’T TAKE IT WITH YOU a big old 10. But be warned don’t watch unless you like a good laugh….

THE BELL BOOK AND CANDLE.....

--I like JAMES STEWART and every once in awhile we drag out some of our old favorite JAMES STEWART movies . There's something about the whole romance mixed with comedy that never fails to make me feel better when I need a good laugh. And the cast isn't to bad either.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give THE BELL BOOK AND CANDLE a big old 10. It's more than enough to inspire a Jimmy Stewart night if I do say so....

MR. HOBBS TAKES A VACATION….

--If you’ve never been on vacation with the family then you may not be able to appreciate this movie. Then again it’s JAMES STEWART the man can make anything interesting and he more than proves it in this movie.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give MR. HOBS TAKES A VACATION   a big old 10. It makes for a fun filled time that’s for sure….

IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE….

--This movie takes you on a roller coaster ride of ups and downs as only a JAMES STEWART movie can. But I will say it’s well worth the ride…
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE a big old 10. It’s the kind of movie you can watch every once in awhile just to put the perk back in your step…

HARVEY….

--It seems talking to a imaginary rabbit can get you into trouble when the normals find out about it. I have to say I love the whole idea, and the fact that they got JAMES STEWART to play the part of the man talking to the rabbit is just icing on the cake as far I’m concerned.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give HARVEY a big old 10. It’s fun for the whole family if you can get them away from their do dads long enough….

RIZZOLI & ISLES....

--They say every good thing must come to a end, but that doesn't mean we can't morn their passing. When I heard that they were ending RIZZOLI & ISLES I was sad it made for a very entertaining hour of TV and that's something that's hard to find these last few years. But unlike most shows were all were left with are repeats with RIZZOLI & ISLES at lest there's still the books for new adventures. Unless the author decides to pull the plug. And then I guess it would really be a excuse to wear a little black.
--On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give RIZZOLI & ISLES a big old 10. It's perfect if you like a little humor with your crime shows.....
